A trailer left unhitched at a customer site, service area or unsecured yard can disappear long before a driver notices it is missing. For fleet operators, essential trailer security upgrades are not simply a response to theft. They protect load availability, reduce disruption to planned work, support insurance requirements and give control rooms a faster, clearer response when an asset moves unexpectedly.
The right specification depends on trailer type, load value, operating geography and how often equipment is dropped. Rear-door protection is essential where high-value, controlled or theft-attractive goods are carried. Depending on trailer construction, operators may require upgraded external locks, internal locking arrangements, reinforced door furniture or electronic door sensors. The objective is to make forced access harder and to create an alert when doors are opened outside an approved location or time window.

Geofencing and movement alerts
Geofences allow control teams to define approved depots, customer sites, ports and parking locations.
